Preparation for 2014 Classroom Decoration Competition_Mon 27 Jan

Class Exco to lead for the up-coming Class Decoration Competition


1. Based on your class goals, code of conduct, mission,confirmed a theme for their class decoration.

2. You are encouraged to use recycled materials and to minimize expenditure for this purpose.
No funding will be given.

3. Check your SST email for the attachments on the rubrics and write-up as part of the judging.

4. All students in the class are expected to play a part in this.

5. Please complete the decorations by this Friday!

2) Discuss the issue using Paul's wheel of reasoning
3) Then select points from the article (+your own research) to support your chosen P.O.V.
4) Craft a peel paragraph based on your P.O.V. and post it on the g+ community.
Number 1) and 2) are to be done as homework. Number 3) and 4) will be done in class on 15th Jan. You are to do your own research on the topic as homework.

Gentle Reminder : Diagnostic Tests next week.

Please be reminded that there will be Diagnostic Tests next week for your various subjects.
Your Subject Teacher will let you know the details. For instance, Chemistry Diagnostic Test (recap what you have learnt in Lower Secondary) will be in Period 2 for next week timetable, Biology Diagnostic Test will be in Period 3 for next week and etc. All the best! Enjoy your revision process.

Preparation for CE Lesson T1W1_Mon 6 Jan

Gentle Reminder to prepare the following items,

1. Submission of Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) forms
2. Ensure that all information about you is updated in SDM.
3. Collection of payment of CE file.
4. Bring $16 for the health check-up for OBS. If you need to have the jab, please bring $20 for the jab.
5. Bring your Health Booklet,OBS Registration Form signed by your Parents/Guardian and any other forms related to OBS.

Temperature-Taking Exercise on 7 Jan 2014

Please bring your thermometer for second round check on Monday 6th Jan in preparation for Tuesday 7th Jan, our first Temperature Taking Exercise for 2014. Ensure your thermometer is in working condition.


    Please proceed to S308 classroom when you arrive in school for silent reading.
    Temperature Taking Exercise will commence after singing of National Anthem
    and Pledge Taking.


If your temperature is or higher then 37.6ºC you will be send to Temperature Measurement Station outside LO2 for 2nd round of temperature taking.
